Dear Jim Keras Subaru Team, On behalf of the entire Wolf River Conservancy, thank you for helping make this year’s Discover the Greenway 5K+ such a resounding success! We’re incredibly grateful for your unwavering partnership over the years—and especially last weekend, when we welcomed hundreds of runners, walkers, and families to the Greenway just before the rain rolled in. The energy and excitement were unmistakable, and your presence as Presenting Sponsor helped make that possible. Everyone LOVED the Subaru giveaways! There was nothing left! Your continued support not only brings events like this to life, but it also strengthens our mission every day—protecting the Wolf River, enhancing the Greenway, and ensuring these natural spaces are accessible for all. Thank you again for being such an incredible partner. We couldn’t do it without you.

A True Community Partner - Donna I.
Jim Keras Subaru has demonstrated incredible support and commitment to Madonna Learning Center through their participation in the Share the Love program. Their contributions have gone beyond financial support—members of their team have personally engaged with our students and adults, creating lasting memories and meaningful connections. One highlight of their involvement was a friendly basketball game held in our gym, where Subaru team members enthusiastically played alongside our students. They took time to meet each individual, showing genuine friendship and camaraderie. These interactions are invaluable in helping our students develop essential social skills in a joyful and inclusive environment. In addition, Jim Keras Subaru planned a special visit to their dealership for our students. During this exciting field trip, students toured the showroom, explored the repair shop, and learned about the many components that make a Subaru dealership run—from sales to service. It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience. Jim Keras Subaru believes deeply in our mission: empowering individuals with special needs to reach their full potential. Their generous financial support will directly impact our ability to expand our school and serve more children and adults as the demand for our programs continues to grow within our community. We are profoundly grateful for their partnership and unwavering belief in our students, our school and our vision.

Wine for Wishes - Jessica C.
Thanks to Jim Keras's Subaru's investment in Make-a-Wish Mid-South, sponsors, donors and board members were able to raise enough funds to grant over 10 wishes for local families. This is an amazing success and an opportunity to support, bringing inspiration and joy to our greater community, especially children facing critical illnesses. This local partner reflects Subaru's wider support of Make-A-Wish on a national scale.
Making Strides Towards Sustainability - Jessica C.
Thanks to Jim Keras Subaru and their unwavering support of the Wolf River Conservancy, our conservation efforts have made monumental strides toward creating a sustainable environment for our community. The Wolf River Conservancy hosts its Wolf River Restoration Series each year to honor and celebrate key holidays (MLK Jr. Day of Service, Arbor Day, World Water Day, and Earth Day). The series offers volunteers the opportunity to plant native trees, clean up illegal dumping, improve outdoor recreation facilities, remove non-native invasive plant species, and more. This year, our volunteers removed 111 bags of trash, 169 tires, and 36 other large items totaling over 6,320 pounds! Such significant cleanups greatly affect biodiversity (including humans) throughout the watershed stretching beyond the simple beautification of natural areas. Additionally, 1.12 acres of land were rehabilitated for native species, creating more diverse outdoor spaces for all residents to enjoy. Lastly, 2,432 trees were planted during the series, and over the next 20 years, they will sequester an estimated 345 metric tons of carbon and filter 445,802 gallons of stormwater. And thanks to partners like Jim Keras Subaru, construction on the Wolf River Greenway continues. The Wolf River Greenway is a corridor of protected green space along the Wolf River that includes a paved pathway for pedestrian and bicycle traffic. This 12-foot-wide pathway will eventually extend 26 miles to connect over 22 neighborhoods, from the north end of Mud Island in downtown Memphis through the neighborhoods of north central Memphis to Shelby Farms Park and then to the cities of Germantown and Collierville. Thank you, Jim Keras Subaru, for your incredible commitment to our environment and communities.

Jim Keras Subaru supports the 2024 GSL Anchor Auction - Katie M.
Each year, Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal School in Memphis, TN holds its annual Anchor Auction event. The largest fundraiser of the school year, the Anchor Auction serves one essential purpose: raise the necessary funds to fulfill our faculty's wish lists for the school year. These wish lists range from new technology for our expanding STEM program, to new immersive learning activities for our youngest students, and to fund community building educational opportunities for our parents. For several years now, Jim Keras Subaru has been an essential partner in supporting this fundraising event. Always one of our easiest "yes" in sponsorship solicitations, Tyler and his team go above and beyond - every year - to support our school and our amazing faculty. This year was no different, and we are so thrilled to have exceeded all revenue expectations for our 2024 event. This is only possible thanks to the support of our longstanding partners, like Jim Keras Subaru, who show up to support our community every year. Thanks to partners like Jim Keras Subaru, we have been able to create a new STEM robotics program in our middle school, as well as create a new speaker forum that educates our parents on the challenges, opportunities and milestones facing our children in both their educational and personal lives. This allows us to ensure that our school remains the dynamic, thriving community that it has been for our students and faculty for the past 75 years, while continuing to evolve with the ever-changing landscape of education. Thanks, Tyler and Jim Keras Subaru, for your tireless support of our GSL community!

Peer Power Big River Crossing Race - Cortney R.
Thank you for helping thousands of Memphis students through your $7,500 sponsorship of the Peer Power Big River Crossing Race. It's a good race with a good run for a great reason. Our organization is extremely grateful for the support you have given us over the years. Because of you, Peer Power is providing the tools that students need to succeed in life. Students supported by Peer Power tutors and mentors have higher attendance and graduation rates, along with rising college acceptance rates. Yet we know that our work isn't complete. Together, we can continue to support our students in the ways that they need it most. Thank you for helping to make sure that children have a chance at learning and at life. Thank you for your incredible commitment.
Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital - Lindsey S.
Subaru Memphis has partnered with Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital for years by donating blankets to our kids. Staying in a hospital can be scary and cold, so these kids being gifted with snuggly blankets can bring a piece of comfort when they need it most. We are so grateful for the continued support Subaru gives to our children in some of their hardest moments.
Jim Keras + Dorothy Day House - Megan B.
We are grateful for the generous donation the Dorothy Day House received this year as part of the Subaru Love Promise. Partnerships with community businesses like Jim Keras Subaru make our work possible. The Dorothy Day House (DDH) provides transitional housing and support services for families experiencing homelessness in Shelby County. Our programs operate out of three residential houses in the mid-town area of Memphis. Families typically reside in our homes for 3-6 months while focusing on goal setting to re-establish independence. This home-like atmosphere provides a sense of security, especially for children, fosters self-esteem, and uplifts the human spirit. The families we serve are diverse in make-up, age, religion, and ethnicity. On average DDH provides these services to 25 families in Shelby County annually. We welcome the whole family at DDH and encourage the strengthening of family bonds during a challenging time. For over 15 years, DDH was the only agency in Shelby County providing housing for married couples and teenage males. In a typical shelter, families are often separated. Men are sent to one shelter while women and young children are sent to another. Teenage boys are placed in foster care or find someone willing to provide a home and care during that time. Often, rather than experience the trauma of separation, families choose to live in a vehicle or stay in uninhabitable places. During their stay families have access to the following services at no cost: food, clothing, transportation, budgeting advice, case management services, advocacy and mentoring, furnishings/small appliances upon move out, parenting skills, employment counseling, resume assistance, prospective job contacts, access to sources of permanent housing, documentation assistance (applying for birth certificates, driver’s license, food stamps, etc.) and personal relationships which provide a system of healthy support. We feel a family should focus all of their resources on what they need to re-establish independence. Our markers of “success” include a family moving into their own long-term housing, employment at a living wage, and having reliable transportation. A key piece to being able to offer this holistic approach is community partnerships. Early this Spring Jim Keras Subaru donated a large quantity of black dress socks to DDH. These socks were distributed between current families and kept in our open community closet. These black dress socks were made available to residents who are working jobs to save for their next steps, often requiring uniforms. Further, just because a family leaves the DDH, that does not mean the relationship ends there. We keep the door open to previous residents and make resources available. We have notified former DDH residents they may visit our community closet any time they need uniform socks for their job. We always say if you need something for your home, we need it times 9 to support families currently living in our transitional housing. Often DDH residents are starting over with limited possessions, and it can be easy to forget the necessities, such as socks for your work. We thank Jim Keras Subaru and the Subaru Love Promise® for supporting families experiencing homelessness in Memphis, TN.
Germantown Charity Horse Show - Mary L.
On behalf of all the members of the Germantown Charity Horse Show, I want to express our deep appreciation for the use of two Jim Keras Subarus during show week 2022. We are grateful to continue the tradition of the Germantown Charity Horse Show and our contributions to our major sponsor Kindred Place and other community charities. Only through the generosity of patrons like you can the "Charity" be the successful and fun-filled experience it is for participants and spectators alike. Kindest regards, Mary Livesay VP & Sponsorship Chair Germantown Charity Horse Show
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis - Keith B.
As a teenager, Keishuna not only needs to prepare for graduation she needs to prepare for life beyond high school, and she's not the only one. Even as employers struggle to fill open positions with skilled workers, the unemployment rate for teens and young adults in Memphis is three times higher than the national average. Your investment in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis puts Keishuna and the 2,100 other teens we serve each year on the path to a great future. We provide opportunities to develop crucial soft skills, gain certifications, explore careers, and learn on the job skills. Your generosity coupled with the programming at BGCM is setting them up for success. I would like to extend my gratitude for your gift of $3,000.00 in support of the 2022 Steak N' Burger Event. Thank you for helping to close the opportunity gap for youth, equipping the next generation with the resources and experiences they need to thrive in school, career, and life. Best regards, Keith Blanchard
Jim Keras Subaru Mentorship - Ellen H.
Dear Mentor: Thank you very much for your willingness to take on one of our 8th grade students as an intern. We realize it takes some thoughtful planning on your part, and we appreciate your willingness to invest such considerable time and energy. In developing this project, it is our hope that Grace-St. Luke's students will have the opportunity to experience a few days in a profession of interest to them. As much as possible, we expect our students to undertake meaningful tasks within your organization and learn about the adult world of work We expect them to be prompt, dress appropriately, and contribute thoughtfully while they are in your place of business. Your feedback on our program and our students will be most helpful to us in shaping this program. Again, thank you for your generous gift of time.

Tremendous Appreciation - Mary G.
I would like to make you aware of a situation involving several of your employees on October 15, 2021. I only know the name of one of them, Boyd Haun, but he will know who the others are.I left Cracker Barrel near you and before I got out of their parking lot I struck a curb that jutted out into the parking lot. By the time I got to the left turn onto Hacks Cross, I realized that my tire was damaged and was flat. It took me a few seconds to get across the lanes of traffic to the right lane. Your drive was the first place I could get off the road. I pulled into the right side of your lot which was vacant. I called my nephew to come and give me assistance. Before I completed the call, two of the men I am speaking about, came to my car to see if they could help me. They told me to drive very slowly around the building to the service bays. They saw that the tire could not be repaired and asked if I had a spare. I told them that I did. They told me to call whoever I had called and told him not to come. They said they would change the tire for me. They seated me in the waiting room and offered refreshments. It could not have been more than fifteen minutes when a gentleman called me and told me that my car was ready. I asked how much I owed them and he told me it was complimentary! He then told me he would show me to the car. On the way, he casually mentioned that they had washed my car! You will never know how much these men meant to me. I was encountering massive stress in this situation and they really took most of that away. I feel that you would like to know what a blessing these men were to me. With tremendous appreciation, Mary Glover
